How to register ?

Individual competition will take place on Saturday from 8.30

Categories are:

– Open

– U12 : born after 01/09/2006

– U15 : born between 01/09/2003 and 31/08/2006

– U19 : born between 01/09/1999 and 31/08/2003

– Veterans : born before 01/09/1973

– Ladies

System of qualification (from Handbook) :

The maximum number of players in each category is as follows:

Open: 64

Veterans: 64

Under19 : 32

Under15: 32

Under 12: 32

Ladies: 32

Selection of Players

10.2.1.

Member Nations may nominate a maximum of 2 players in each category, the national champion on the referred category usually being one of them.

10.2.2.

Each National Association may also register a maximum of 2 substitute players in each category.

10.2.3.

In addition, the FISTF World Ranking at the end of April will be used to select players as follows:

8 Open category players (maximum 2 players per country);

8 Veteran category players (maximum 2 players per country);

8 U19 category players (maximum 2 players per country);

8 U15 category players (maximum 2 players per country);

8 U12 category players (maximum 2 players per country);

8 Ladies players (maximum 2 players per country).

Consequently, a National Association can nominate up to 4 players in each category, including the substitute players plus 2 more players from this country who qualify through FISTF World Ranking

(maximum 8 players in this case).

10.2.4.

If the required number of players is not reached in a particular category as defined at

10.1.1, the priority for the selection of players is made according to the following criteria:

a.

First substitute from a country that has no players selected by the World Ranking

b.

First substitute from a country that has 1 player selected by the World Ranking

c.

Second substitute from a country that has no players selected by the World Ranking

d.

First substitute from a country that has 2 players selected by the World Ranking

e.

Second substitute from a country that has 1 player selected by the World Ranking

10.2.5.

The World Ranking at the end of April will be used to determine the priorities for 10.2.5.

10.2.6.

Special wild cards can be awarded by the FISTF Board of Directors, on a case – by – case basis,

a) to players coming from Nations that are not FISTF Member Nations or;

b) to players registered by their Nation only for the team competition, even if the Nation ’s limits set in 10.2.4 are exceeded, in order to complete the maximum number of players in a category.

10.2.7.

This system can guarantee that nations have a levelled number of players in the individual

event and can also help in ha ving more national teams.

Players have to chose their category. It’s not possible to combine 2 categories.

National team competition will take place on Sunday from 8.30

  • The categories are the same.
  • A team must have at least 3 players. No maximal number of players.
  • Only one team per nation per category is allowed.
